Updated 2006 edition. A unique euthanasia desk reference. A companion book to the bestselling 'Final Exit'. 218 pages of vital information about assisted suicide and euthanasia.

"The Good Euthanasia Guide" is a 'where-to' and 'why' book which complements the 'how-to' of 'Final Exit'. It contains an annotated list of every right-to-die group in the world, and a unique account of the assisted suicide laws in almost every country, a filmography and a bibliography. Dr. Jack Kevorkian's life and work are reported in three chapters.

After the success of the first edition (sold out), now comes a larger and updated 2006 edition of the Guide. A new chapter is added dealing with the future of the right-to-die movement, exact details of the reshuffling which has been rampant in American groups in the past year, and newer lists of books and films. 'The Guardian' newspaper in London said when reviewing the first edition: "The book is not a 'how-to' manual but one that points people towards the countries and organizations that will assist a death."

The author, Derek Humphry, has twenty years experience in the euthanasia field. He started the Hemlock Society in 1980 and also the Euthanasia Research & Guidance Organiazation in 1993. He was president of the World Federation of Right to Die Societies 1988-90. Earlier Derek was a veteran investigative reporter for the London Sunday Times and the Los Angeles Times before taking up the right-to-die campaign.

He wrote "Final Exit " and four other books on this issue, including "Let Me Die Before I Wake", his first `how-to' book which has sold thousands of copies since 1981.
